Heydon Park

By Does Your Duck Quack · Reviewed 20 October 2026

Heydon

Heydon’s historic park offers a gentle mix of parkland, grazing meadows and woodland around a small village. The bird club describes a range of habitats to explore and records Nuthatch, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Great Tit and Greenfinch regularly. It is a useful inland option for a visitor who enjoys watching trees and field edges during a walk. The owners welcome walkers free of charge on a permissive basis, so access depends on current estate conditions. Farming or grazing can temporarily close the park. Heydon Hall is a private home and is not open to visitors.
