Mannington Hall park and lake

By Does Your Duck Quack · Reviewed 20 October 2026

Mannington, near Itteringham · NR11 7BB

Mannington combines lakes, marsh, grazing meadows and woodland around a historic estate. That mixture offers waterbirds and woodland species in the same outing: the county club records Little Grebe, Moorhen, Gadwall, Marsh Tit and Nuthatch. Visitors can choose the designated public footpaths throughout the year or pay for the seasonal gardens and estate experience. The bird hide is reached by a meadow boardwalk within that visitor offer. The Hall itself is currently closed for conservation, but the operator confirms that the gardens and landscape remain open during the published season.
