Pretty Corner Woods

By Does Your Duck Quack · Reviewed 20 October 2026

Pretty Corner combines broadleaved and conifer woodland, small heathland areas, grassland and ponds on the Cromer Ridge near Sheringham. The council identifies Bullfinch and Kingfisher among its wildlife, while its annual inventory adds Nuthatch, Treecreeper and Great Spotted Woodpecker. This is a useful choice for a woodland session when the exposed coast is less inviting. Informal earth tracks climb and descend through the woods, with a higher viewpoint looking towards the sea. The two owning organisations manage their adjoining land together.
