Beeston Common
Between Sheringham and Beeston Regis
Beeston Common is a small but varied green space between Sheringham and Beeston Regis, with marsh, pools, scrub and trees. The county club documents a useful range of woodland birds here, including Treecreeper, Bullfinch, Marsh Tit and both Green and Great Spotted Woodpeckers. It offers a change from the open coast nearby: a slow walk can focus on calls from the trees and movement around the scrub. Choose it for ordinary local birdlife and a compact nature walk, keeping to existing paths through the sensitive wet ground.
