Kay Cliffs Nature Reserve

Kay Cliffs is a small clifftop reserve at East Runton with blackthorn scrub and an outlook over the North Sea. Its main birding appeal is seawatching, and NWT particularly recommends winter visits with a telescope. Gannet, Kittiwake and Fulmar are among the named birds that may be seen offshore. The site is suited to a short stop rather than a long reserve circuit, with one public path crossing it. The exposed outlook makes weather and visibility important to the experience. Keep to the path and safe ground away from the cliff edge while scanning the sea, and allow time to use the nearby public parking.
