Neyland

Westfield Pill is a partly tidal lake beside an old railway corridor at Neyland, with muddy margins, reedbed and woodland edges. The Wildlife Trust identifies wintering Little Grebe and Goldeneye, as well as Kingfisher and Shelduck. The cycleway gives a straightforward way to spend a short time scanning the water without needing a long coastal walk. Water and exposed mud provide different views as conditions change. This is a public open-access reserve, with marina parking and toilets nearby, making it a practical addition to a day around the Milford Haven waterway.
