Marloes Peninsula

Marloes Mere is the wetland just inland from Marloes Sands, with public hides overlooking water and marsh. The National Trust names Teal, resident Stonechat and Marsh Harrier, with the harrier most likely during spring and autumn passage. It offers a mainland birding stop without booking an island boat, and the lane from Marloes Sands car park passes the Mere before reaching the coast. Concentrate on the wetland and its permitted viewing places rather than treating the nearby islands' breeding seabirds as birds of the Mere. Water levels, weather and vegetation will determine what is visible.
