Toll’s Meadow is a small wet meadow and woodland reserve on both sides of the River Tiffey, close to Wymondham’s centre. The town council names Kingfisher, Goldcrest, Whitethroat and Blackcap among its birds. A circular path gives a straightforward way to sample the river, reeds and willow scrub, while a public right of way crosses between London Road and Cemetery Lane. Choose it for a short birdwatching stop during a town visit, with spring song and the changing wetland vegetation adding interest through the year.
