Marsh Lane, Worlingham · NR34 7PF

Worlingham Marshes is a developing nature reserve in the Lower Waveney Valley, with marsh, wet woodland, fen and scrub. Suffolk Wildlife Trust names Kingfisher, Marsh Harrier and Woodcock among birds regularly recorded there. A visit is made on foot along public paths rather than by driving into the reserve. The operator explicitly recommends walking from Worlingham, Beccles or Carlton Marshes and notes that visitor facilities are still limited. Plan the length of that approach and the return before setting out; the absence of an on-site car park is central to the experience.
