Low Farm Wood

By Does Your Duck Quack · Reviewed 20 October 2026

Brundall

Low Farm Wood is an F-shaped strip of woodland on the north side of Postwick Lane, almost opposite Brundall Countryside Park. A permissive path runs through and around it, giving a visitor a small woodland walk within the village’s wider network of green spaces. The parish biodiversity report records Robin, Blue Tit, Blackbird and Blackcap in the wood’s 2023 survey. These familiar birds make it a useful place to practise recognising woodland songs and calls. Brundall Parish Council took on management in February 2026, following the dissolution of the Broadland Tree Warden Network.

Birds and seasons

  • Robin — Typically all year
  • Blue Tit — Typically all year
  • Blackbird — Typically all year
