Brownsover Lane approach, north of Rugby
Swift Valley offers birdwatching along a river, marshy pools and a disused canal arm on Rugby’s northern edge. The Trust names Reed Bunting and Lapwing among the reserve’s birds, with Snipe visiting in winter. Choose a public path around the wetland and pasture and watch from the edges, leaving grazing areas and wildlife space undisturbed. The old ridge-and-furrow grassland and small woods add variety to the route. This is a managed nature reserve with a specific wetland watching circuit, rather than a separate listing for each pool or canal section.
