Holland Gap, Holland-on-Sea · CO 15 5TZ

Holland Haven combines coastal grassland with pools, reedbeds and scrub between Clacton and Frinton. Essex Birdwatching Society lists Skylark and Lapwing throughout the year and Reed Warbler in summer, with public watching places around the scrape and reedbeds. The council confirms year-round park access, hides and pay-and-display parking. Choose a manageable route and leave time to pause at a public viewpoint rather than chasing historical rarities. The latest council toilet notice reports a fire closure, so do not rely on the toilet block without checking for a confirmed reopening before your visit.
