Pembrey
Ffrwd Farm Mire is a surviving area of fen and reedbed north of Pembrey. The Wildlife Trust names Cetti’s Warbler, Reed Warbler and Sedge Warbler among its breeding birds. Birdwatching is from the public paths along the western and northern edges and a short northern boardwalk, rather than unrestricted entry across the mire. This distinction matters because the operator says there are no visitor access gates into the wider reserve. The mix of reeds, open water and wet pasture provides a focused wetland stop, with listening from the permitted paths part of the appeal.
