Glenborrodale
Between Glenbeg and Glenborrodale · PH36 4JP
Glenborrodale brings together Atlantic oak woodland and the shore of Loch Sunart on Ardnamurchan. Its woodland birds make it an appealing spring and summer walk: Wood Warbler, Redstart, Spotted Flycatcher and Tree Pipit are among the species named by the RSPB. Lichens, mosses and ferns add interest beneath the trees, while the sea loch broadens the outing. The short trail is physically demanding for its length, with steep ground, steps and uneven earth rather than a level woodland promenade.
