Rutland Water Nature Reserve

An internationally protected reservoir wetland where around 25,000 wildfowl can gather in winter. Spring and autumn bring migrant waders and passerines, while the long-running Osprey project gives summer visitors a chance to watch birds over Manton Bay; Great White Egrets, terns, grebes, divers and raptors broaden the year-round interest.
