New Road, Whittlesey · PE7 1SZ

Lattersey is a former quarry on Whittlesey's edge, where water-filled pits, wetland vegetation and scrub provide varied wildlife habitat. The Wildlife Trust names Woodcock, Sparrowhawk and Tawny Owl among birds associated with the dense cover. Its recommended season for a general visit is summer, rather than a specific season for each bird. This is a local nature walk with steps and uneven sections. Boardwalk repairs are currently under way, so obey signs and avoid any section closed during the work.
