Duck Street, Steeple Langford · SP3 4NH
Langford Lakes provides a Wiltshire wetland visit with four lakes, a wet scrape and public hides. The Trust names Kingfisher, Water Rail and Gadwall among its resident birds, while other waterbirds add seasonal variety. Choose the level lake-side route or a longer walk according to current conditions: part of the circular route closes in winter. Arrival is through the Duck Street reserve entrance after crossing the river. The café and other facilities make it possible to divide a longer session with breaks. Follow signs around grazed areas and keep the visit on public routes; only assistance dogs are permitted.
