Tre’r-ddôl
Cwm Clettwr provides a wooded valley walk above Tre’r-ddôl, with both mature broadleaved woodland and areas of younger regeneration. The Wildlife Trust names Dipper, Grey Wagtail and Pied Flycatcher among its breeding birds. Public and permissive footpaths cross the reserve, allowing visitors to explore the woodland rather than watch from a single fixed viewpoint. Heath pockets add another habitat within the regenerating areas. Its position above the village gives an alternative inland stop near the Dyfi coast, although the hill approach and woodland paths require more walking than a roadside viewing place.
