Callow Hill visitor arrival, west of Bewdley

Wyre Forest is a large national nature reserve with ancient oak woodland, steep stream valleys, grassland and old orchards. Natural England’s exact reserve account names Redstart, Pied Flycatcher and Wood Warbler among its breeding birds, with other species along the larger streams. Callow Hill provides an organised Worcestershire arrival with parking and marked walking routes, allowing a manageable woodland visit within the much wider forest. The reserve is counted as one destination here, including its connected woodland sections rather than creating extra entries for individual coppices or paths.
