Sea Mills station and River Trym mouth · BS9 1SU

Sea Mills offers a tidal-river birding stop close to its railway station. Bristol Ornithological Club’s 2004 site account identifies Curlew, Redshank and Common Sandpiper as regular birds of the Sea Mills Reach. That is a historical site account, not a claim of a recent sighting or today’s numbers. Use established public paths to watch the river and its changing waterline, keeping off the mud and out of railway or operational land. The official Bristol walking leaflet includes Sea Mills station as an arrival for the public path network. This entry covers the reach once rather than adding several nearby viewpoints.
