Logan’s Way and Riverside footbridge, Cambridge
Logan’s Meadow is a riverside reserve close to central Cambridge, with reedbed, backwaters and woodland beside the Cam. The council names Reed Warbler and Kingfisher around the wet habitats, with Great Spotted Woodpecker in the trees. Habitat work has expanded the reedbed and open-water areas while retaining a woodland belt. Flat paths make a compact local walk possible, but the reserve is prone to flooding and muddy conditions. Choose the route for current ground conditions rather than relying only on the map.
