Kilmacolm (0 mi / 0 km)

Glen Moss is a wetland and woodland reserve reached on foot from Kilmacolm. Open water and shallow sheltered pools sit among marsh, wet heath and trees, creating several habitats within one visit. The Trust includes Reed Bunting, Snipe and Willow Warbler in its reserve wildlife selection. Surfaced paths and a boardwalk provide the public way to explore while leaving the wet ground intact. Dragonflies, damselflies and specialised plants add other reasons to pause beside the route. There is no parking beside the reserve, so plan to walk from the town.
