Lendrick Hill Visitor Gateway, Brig o’ Turk

Glen Finglas is a distinct Woodland Trust estate within the Great Trossachs Forest, with its own visitor gateway and waymarked walking routes. The RSPB Forth Valley group’s 2026 visit recorded Wood Warbler on the Lendrick Hill and Dam walk and Garden Warbler during an earlier visit; SOC also records Cuckoo at Glen Finglas. Begin at Lendrick Hill and choose a route that matches the time and climbing you want. Low-level paths and much longer upland walks explore different parts of this large estate, with distances and terrain varying between the routes.

Getting there: Follow the A821 to the signed Lendrick Hill arrival. The map pin marks the published Visitor Gateway and car-park location, not a bird territory. The Trust also identifies Little Druim and Dam Road car parks within the same estate.
