Snipe Dales brings wet valleys and mixed woodland together on the southern edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. It is a walking choice rather than a drive-up wetland hide. Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust describes Treecreeper, Goldcrest and Siskin in the woods in autumn and winter, while spring brings returning warblers and birdsong. Choose one of the waymarked routes and allow time for the streams, scrub and woodland to change the feel of the walk. Country Park and nature-reserve rules differ, particularly for dogs. The paths can be steep and muddy, so the visitor facilities do not imply that every route is easy.
