The Trust’s Roslin Glen reserve occupies steep wooded banks beside the River North Esk. Oak, ash, hazel, cherry and hawthorn provide shelter and food for breeding birds including Chiffchaff, Blackcap and Bullfinch, all named in the operator’s profile. Woodland flowers and fungi add interest to a quiet visit, with bluebells highlighted in spring. The public walking recommendation here follows the paths south of the B7003. The Trust does not maintain paths in the northern section, so this entry should not be read as an invitation to explore every wooded bank.
