Near Low Hauxley, at the northern end of Druridge Bay

Hauxley combines wetland hides with a visitor centre near the northern end of Druridge Bay. Tree Sparrows, Reed Buntings and Bullfinches provide smaller-bird interest alongside waterbirds on the pools. The accessible trail gives a manageable option for a first visit, while a circular route offers a longer look around the reserve. Use the reception sightings board to choose where to pause rather than assuming every hide needs a visit. The shared access drive is signed from Low Hauxley; following the postcode alone can lead into the village.
