Old Colwyn, Conwy
Fairy Glen follows the River Colwyn through wooded ground in Old Colwyn. The council’s dedicated wildlife account names kingfisher, treecreeper and buzzard, in the reserve’s river and woodland habitats. Riverside paths, footbridges and benches make several stopping points possible without turning this into a long headland walk. The council describes public approaches from Coed Coch Road and Llaneilian Road. For a precisely documented arrival, the Wales Coast Path’s Old Colwyn route starts at Victoria Road car park and gives signed directions into the glen. The mapped arrival is that car park, reached before following the described approach into the woodland.
