Capel Coch · LL77 7UR
Cors Erddreiniog is the largest of Anglesey’s three fen National Nature Reserves. Its public walk links fenland views with the surviving lake at Llyn yr Wyth Eidion and a landscape of wet heath and woodland. Natural Resources Wales names Grasshopper Warbler, Reed Warbler and Stonechat among its spring and summer birds. Access begins on foot from Capel Coch, so this suits a longer inland walk rather than a quick stop beside a hide. The generally unsurfaced route can become muddy after rain, while orchids and other fen plants provide another reason to linger.
